Power of children after a year

In the first year of his life, the baby has changed a lot. He not only grew up and may have begun to take his first steps, the baby can also fulfill some of adult requests, pronounce simple words. Having several teeth, the little one learned to chew, although he still gets awkward. It already distinguishes between products, remembers the taste of dishes, and it also has personal culinary preferences. Therefore, the food of children after a year should be made from delicious and beautiful dishes.

The diet of children after a year consists of products, with a high content of animal protein: eggs, milk, kefir, cottage cheese, meat, poultry and fish. In the daily menu of crumbs, dairy products, vegetables and fruits, meat, bread and sugar should be present. Within a week, he also receives cottage cheese, cheese, sour cream, eggs, fish and various cereals, based on the stipulated norms. After a year, the child is recommended to give combined vegetable, flour and cereal dishes, using milk, cottage cheese, grated cheese, meat and eggs as additives. Eggs remain a mandatory product in the baby’s diet, adding a boiled yolk to vegetable or other dishes. Only closer to three years the child can be given protein.

Milk and dairy products

Although the food of children after a year is slightly different from the menu of previous months, during this period the exclusion of milk and dairy products cannot be allowed from the baby’s diet. Making a daily norm in 500-600g (and as part of other dishes), they still remain the basis of baby food.

Kefir should be present in the daily diet of crumbs. Thanks to the beneficial effects of vitamins, enzymes, lactic acid and carbon dioxide, which are contained in kefir, the child improves digestion and appetite, and the immunity and the nervous system are strengthened.

After a year, the baby can be given except cottage cheese and grated cheese. It can be used for sandwiches, mixing with a small amount of butter, or adding to pasta. Only by three years the child can be given a sandwich with a piece of cheese.

Meat and fish

In the daily diet of the baby, after a year, meat should be present, which is best offered to lunch, because it is digested longer. As a side dish to meat, vegetable dishes are served to improve digestion. For small children, it is recommended to use low -fat veal or beef, chicken or rabbit meat. At this age, the baby still eats meat in pieces, so when preparing meat dishes, it is recommended to use minced meat for him. Until the age of 2, the baby can be offered steam cutlets and meatballs, various souffli. To stimulate hematopoiesis and digestion, the child after a year gives paste from the liver. Sausage and other similar products are not recommended for babies under three years old.

Weekly, no more than 2-3 times, in the diet of a baby there should be a fish. For baby food, you can use lake or sea fish, low -fat varieties and without small bones. After a year, a baby can prepare fish cutlets or meatballs, as well as boiled or stewed with onions and carrots.

Vegetables and fruits

The baby met with the taste of vegetables and fruits even earlier, but even after a year they remain an important component of the children’s diet, being a source of vitamins, carbohydrates and mineral salts. Every day, the menu should have mashed potatoes prepared from one or two types of vegetables: carrots, white or colored cabbage, pumpkin, potatoes, zucchini, onions or beets. In summer, a child can be given tomatoes or cucumbers, sweet pepper and eggplant.

It is advisable to give the baby fruit puree and juices daily. After a year, children can offer a little jam or jam, but not often.

Despite the fact that the child’s maturity is noted by the child, the work of the liver, intestines, stomach and pancreas is not yet fully established. Therefore, in order not to contribute to the occurrence of various diseases of the digestive tract, you need to treat the baby’s diet with special attention.
