It seems that the consequences of global warming begin to manifest itself in our country, at least, the air temperature in the summer months for several years has been beating all conceivable records. It is not surprising that in connection with this, a huge number of inhabitants of the middle lane were faced with the need to install an air conditioner in an apartment or a private house. Conventional fans no longer save from the heat, but the high air temperature is extremely negatively affected by the well -being and health of people, especially those suffering from cardiovascular diseases.
Typically, the installation of this device in the apartment provides for two possible options: installing a window air conditioner, or split systems. The third option is possible, by the way, more and more gaining popularity – mobile air conditioning. Each of the above options has both advantages and disadvantages, so all three systems are present in the market and manufacturers do not intend to abandon them yet.
So, let’s consider each of the listed cases in more detail. Window air conditioners today are least represented on the market, although at the dawn of the development of such technology all air conditioners were exactly window, and even in the Soviet Union there was their own factory for the production of window air conditioners. However, such technology has advantages, I must say a little, perhaps, with the exception of the low price and ease of installation. However, a simple installation occurs only if there are wooden frames in your house or apartment to this day. In the case of modern double -glazed windows from PVC or aluminum profile about a simple and inexpensive installation, you can forget. The disadvantages can also include the noise of the device, since all the elements of the air conditioner, including a noisy compressor, are in the same block and are not taken outside the dwelling, as, for example, this occurs when the split systems are installed. The latter, however, is more expensive, and the installation of such an air conditioner is not cheaper than the cost of the device itself. Nevertheless, due to the simplicity of maintenance, noiselessness and the presence of a large number of functions of the split system today are most popular.
Speaking of mobile monoblocks, it should be noted their main advantage-intensity of the need for installation, lack of binding to any particular room. The monoblock is supplied with wheels, with which it can be transported from the room to the room. Among the shortcomings is the need to constantly drain water from the pallet, which is formed during condensation, and increased noise, since all the elements of the air conditioner are in the same case.
In a word, today, the choice is quite large. You can choose both a monoblock and a multifunctional split system from various manufacturers, and the technical level of devices and their functionality is constantly increasing, which makes it possible to purchase exactly the device that you really need.
