How much is French manicure and what is its history

  • February 14, 2019

Today you are unlikely to find a woman who has not done or at least has not heard about French manicure. However, few people know how this type of manicure appeared. Let’s make a short excursion into the past and find out who and for what it came up with. The appearance of a jacket dates back to the 20th century, or rather, by 1978. However, then no one thought that this nail design would like the women of the whole globe and that its best traditions would remain to this day. Of course, over time, the French manicure changed somewhat, following mainly modern fashion trends, but no matter what, French manicure in almost all countries was recognized as classic in the world of the nail industry.

However, we will return to the history of this manicure, which is directly related to the name of Jeff Pink. One film producer turned to him for help, who asked him to come up with such a nail design that would have a great way to all the outfits and all hairstyles. Pink with pleasure took up this interesting, but at the same time a rather complicated task. So actually a French manicure was created, the original name of which was “Natural Nail”, this name was given to the manicure by the Creator.

After some time, the French manicure “descends” from the screens of Hollywood films, as a result of which the jacket could be seen not only in the hands of the film, but also on the hands of ordinary women. Of course, if you think about how much the French manicure costs today and what was the price of it in the 20th century, then we will be somewhat surprised by the discrepancy between prices. However, do not forget that then this manicure was something new, unknown and therefore beckoning.

However, you should not think that modern women are attracted in French manicure only a relatively low price, because the jacket is associated with naturalness, naturalness, and, as you know, on the agenda we have a healthy lifestyle, natural beauty, rejection of all unnecessary, starting from cosmetics and ending hair dye.

Note that today, in addition to the traditional jacket, all kinds of varieties are practiced, for example, making the tip of the nail in the form of a smile, zigzag or pointing it. Of course, such a manicure is difficult to do at home, so it is better to make it in the cabin, though it will cost more than an ordinary French manicure.
